Perth records another shutout win, and Westport wins in overtime

Ottawa, Ontario – The Perth Blue Wings took a 2-1 series lead, shutting out the Brockville Braves, and the Westport Rideaus and Carleton Place Jr. Canadians went to overtime, but this time the Rideaus came on top.

Johnathan Peacock made 32-saves for his second shutout of the series. Ryan Bonfield, Jordan Currie and Trent Harris scored the Blue Wings goals, as they take a 2-1 series lead. For Currie, he now has three goals in the series.

The Tikis were outshot 40-32 in the loss. Brayden Kelso made 37-saves in his second straight start. Game four goes down tonight (Saturday) in Brockville at 6:15.

Ty Nicholson scored the winner, at 15:24 of overtime, giving the Rideaus their first win of the series. Alex Zoutis made 60-saves in the victory. All three games have gone to overtime.

Connor Nicoll scored the opening goal for the Canadians, but Hugh McHugh tied it in the second period. Owen Bennett made 66-saves on 68-shots in the loss. Game four goes down tonight (Saturday) in Carleton Place, with the Canadians leading the series 2-1.
