PLAYOFF RECAP | Carleton Place defeats Perth in Game 2 to tie the series 1-1

Ottawa, Ontario – The Carleton Place Jr. Canadians defeated the Perth Blue Wings 6-2 in Game 2 of the Richardson Division Semi-Finals to tie the series at 1-1 on Wednesday night.

Jacob Bertrand and Ben Charboneau scores twice while Mark Webb collects 1G / 1A for his first career CCHL2 multi-point night in the playoffs. Larkin and Holmes each had two assists. Bill Gourgon also scores his first of the post-season coming in the first period.

Carleton Place went 1-for-5 on the power play. Nathan MacKechnie collected two goals in the first period. Carleton Place outshot Perth 40-18. Brody Bernard made 16 saves for his first win this post-season. Perth was 0-for-4 on their man advantage.
