Recap | Carleton Place wins in OT and Renfrew snaps losing streak

Ottawa, Ontario – Two games were happening on Wednesday night with Carleton Place taking on the Brockville Tikis and Renfrew taking on the Richmond Royals at the Richmond Memorial Centre.

F/OT | Carleton Place 4, Brockville 3

After Carleton Place suffered the worst loss of the season on Tuesday, Carleton Place was able to bounce back to pick up a huge win over Brockville. Ben Charbonneau scores the OT winner, just 54 seconds in. Patrick Larkin added three assists and Reid Oliver collects 1G / 1A.

Bradley Mitchell made 20 saves for his 12th win this season. Brad Arnott collected 1G / 1A in the Tikis OT loss. Collecting other goals for Brockville were Cole Jelly and Taysean Smith. Brayden Kelso faced a lot of shots and made 33 saves.

Renfrew 6, Richmond 4

The Timberwolves were able to break their two game losing with an important win. Renfrew is battle for a playoff spot in the Richardson Division. Ben Langille (2G / 3A), Zach Martin (2G / 2A) and Nolan McGregor (3A) combined for 12 points on a line together.

Langille extends his points streak to four games and Mcgregor has four assists during his two game point streak. Artyom Shiman also contributed offensively by adding two assists. Ryan Mann scores twice in Richmond’s loss. Shots were 39-36 for Richmond.
