Ottawa, Ontario – There were two games in the Richardson Division as the teams look to get in position of a playoff spots. Renfrew traveled to the Westport Community Arena to take on the Rideaus and the Brockville Tikis hosted the Arnprior Packers at the Brockville Memorial Centre on Bell Lets Talk day.

Westport 7, Renfrew 3

The Westport Rideaus extend their winning streak to three games and are 6-1 since the start of 2020. Sean James collected his third hat trick of the season in a four goal effort. James has back-to-back five point games. Blake Kettyle adds four assists to collect 82 points this season.

Kettyle had 80 points in 43 games last season with 38 goals and 42 assists. Jack Smith got on the score sheet by scoring twice while Johnston and Watson each had three points. Westport is back in action Friday night when they host the Ottawa Jr. Canadians.

The Timberwolves are on a two game losing streak after going on a three game winning streak to start 2020. Langille, Kuehl and Dutkiewicz each scored for Renfrew. Shots were 41-35 in favour of Renfrew. Westport went 2-for-4 on the power play while Renfrew’s power play went 0-for-8. Renfrew is 3-3 in 2020.

Brockville 5, Arnprior 2

It was an important game, as both teams are battling for a playoff spots in the Richardson Division. Zach White, Tanner Flood, Ryan Glazer and Tyler Toomey all lead the way offensively by collecting 1G / 1A. Brad Arnott got on the score sheet by adding two assists. Brockville snaps a two game losing streak.

James Buckley and Andrew Cuglietta each scored for Arnprior in the loss. The Packers did out-shoot the Tikis 38-33. Arnrpior also went 0-for-5 on the power play.
