Release | Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League Announces Important Dates


OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is thrilled to announce the opening day of the highly anticipated 2024-25 season. The excitement begins Tuesday September 17th, when the Ottawa Junior Canadians face off against the Athens Aeros at the Earl Armstrong Arena. This marks the beginning of another exhilarating season of junior hockey, showcasing some of the most talented young players in the region.

In addition to the opening game, fans can look forward to several key events throughout the season:

  • Prospects Game: On December 2nd, the Ottawa Junior Canadians will host the annual Prospects Game at the Earl Armstrong Arena. This event will highlight the emerging talent within the league, giving fans a glimpse of the future stars of hockey.
  • All-Star Game: The Ottawa West Golden Knights will host the prestigious All-Star Game on January 13th at the Barbara Ann Scott Arena. This event will feature the league’s top players, providing a showcase of skill and competition.
