RELEASE | EOJHL Announces 2022-23 Martin Division All Rookie Team

Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the Martin Division All Rookie team for the 2022-23 season.

Forward: ’06 Lucas Leblanc (Winchester Hawks)

Leblanc, 16, was an outstanding throughout the regular season. He collected 21 goals, 23 assists and 44 points in all 42 games. Leblanc is a prospect with the Ottawa Jr. Senators in the CCHL. Last season with U18 Ottawa, he had 14 goals, 13 assists and 27 points in 34 games.

Forward: ’05 Danik Marion (Ottawa Jr. Canadians)

Marion, 18, playing in four call up games during the regular season and three playoff games with OJC last year. It has been a great season for the Orleans, Ontario native. He had 18 goals, 26 assists and 44 points in 42 games. Last season with U18 Navan, he had 11 goals, 23 assists and 34 points in 31 games.

Forward: ’05 Marc-Olivier McCarthy (Casselman Vikings)

McCarthy, 17, was part of a championship team last year where he had six points in 14 games during the playoffs. This season, he has been a big piece upfront. The Glen Robertson, Ontario native had 19 goals, 22 assists and 41 points in all 42 games. He spent last year with U18 Hawkesbury and had 28 points in 29 games.

Defense: ’05 Tru Fraser (Ottawa Jr. Canadians)

Fraser, 17, had three playoff games as a call up last year. The Navan, Ontario native has been a great defensive player throughout the entire season. He had one goal, six assists and seven points in 33 games. He was teammates with Danik Marion while playing with U18 Navan. He had 21 points in 30 games in U18.

Defense: ’05 Wade Boudrias (Ottawa West Golden Knights)

Boudrias, 17, was apart of a championship team last year with U18 Nepean and had 13 points in 32 games. He had one goal, 14 assists and 15 points during his first season with the Golden Knights in 40 games. He led all Martin Division defenseman’s in points.

Goalie: ’05 Mael Gendron (Casselman Vikings)

Gendron, 18, had a tremendous season in between the pipes with Casselman after spending last season with U18 Rockland. The Rockland, Ontario native played in 27 games and was 17-5-1, to go along with 2.54 GAA / .915 SV%. Gendron and Racine were splitting the games in net throughout the regular season.
