Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the 2022-23 Richardson Division All Rookie Team.
Forward: ’05 Travis Ouellette (Perth Blue Wings)
Ouellette, 18, was the leading rookie scorer throughout the season by collecting 34 goals, 40 assists and 74 points in all 42 games. He was first among rookies in goals and points. The South Mountain, Ontario native was also tied for 6th in the league with points. Before playing this season with Perth, he was with U18 Brockville.
Forward: ’05 Tyson Parker (Smiths Falls Jr. Bears)
Parker, 17, was right behind Ouellette in the rookie scoring race this season. He collected 28 goals, 44 assists and 72 points in 38 games. He was second in goals and points, first among rookies in assists. The Nepean, Ontario native ranked 8th in the league in points. Before playing with Smiths Falls, he was with the Nepean Raiders U18 AA.
Forward: ’05 Ryan Rutley (Athens Aeros)
Rutley, 17, is a prospect of the Kemptville 73s and had five games in the CCHL this season. In his time with Athens, he had 21 goals, 27 assists and 48 points in 40 games. Before playing with Athens, he was playing in USHS-prep with Northwood School.
Defense: ’05 Tyson Carr (Brockville Tikis)
Carr, 17, led all rookie defenseman’s in points with 39. Overall this season, Carr had 11 goals, 20 assists during his first season with the Tikis. Prior to joining Brockville, he played with the U18 Quinte Red Devils.
Defense: ’06 Jack Paquette (Smiths Falls Jr. Bears)
Paquette, 17, was second among rookie defenseman’s in points. He had 14 goals, 16 assists and 30 points in 35 games. He played with U18 Smiths Falls last season.
Goalie: ’06 Jaden Cholette (Arnprior Packers)
Cholette, 17, is one again on a top three team this season. Last year, he was with U18 Nepean winning a championship. Has made three appearance with the Nepean Raiders. This season, Cholette went 18-2, 2 shutouts, 2.71 GAA / .908 SV%.
