OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is proud to announce the Player of the Month awards, sponsored by Lacroix Source for Sports.

Forward of the Month: Nicolas Elie – Casselman Vikings
The 2004-born native of St-Isidore, ON, Nicolas Elie has made an impressive impact this season, leading all EOJHL skaters with 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists) in just 13 games. Elie has demonstrated remarkable consistency, being held off the scoresheet only twice and registering seven multi-point performances.

Defenseman of the Month: Jake Begin – Carleton Place Jr. Canadians
Jake Begin, a 2007-born defenseman from Kanata, ON, has also shone brightly, finishing tied for the lead among EOJHL defensemen with 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 13 games. His outstanding 1.31 points per game ranks him first among all league defenders, and he is tied for third overall among EOJHL rookies.

Goaltender of the Month: Colton Rheaume – Casselman Vikings
Colton Rheaume, a 2007-born goaltender from Cornwall, ON, has been exceptional, boasting a perfect record of 7-0-0. His league-leading statistics include a .958 save percentage, 1.28 goals against average, and two shutouts, positioning him as one of the top talents in the EOJHL.

Rookie of the Month: Carter Downs – Arnprior Packers
Carter Downs, a 2008-born forward from Ottawa, ON, has emerged as a standout rookie, leading all first-year players with 24 points (8 goals, 16 assists) in 15 games. He currently ranks second overall in the league’s scoring race and first in assists.
