Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announced it’s week 14 stars of the week. The first stars goes to forward Max Bush of the Ottawa West Golden Knights, second star is awarded to Ben Langille of the Perth Blue Wings and third star went to Athens Aeros forward Ty Nicholson. Honorable Mention goes to forward Tyler Cutts of the Richmond Royals.

First Star: ’01 Max Bush, Ottawa West Golden Knights (5G / 4A)

Bush, 21, had a total of five goals and four assists in three games. Bush started the week on Feb 14th against Casselman by collecting two assists. His point streak would continue by collecting two goals for three points against Winchester in a 4-1 win. Bush would end the week by collecting his second career hat trick in a 6-2 win over Casselman. The Ottawa, Ontario native has 17 goals, to go along with 17 assists in 26 games this season. He is on a three game point streak.

Second Star: ’02 Ben Langille, Perth Blue Wings (2G / 8A)

Langille, 20, had another amazing week by collecting two goals and eight assists for 10 points in three games. Langille collected three points in back to back games against Whitewater and Arnprior. He would end the week strong by collecting four points in a 6-1 win over Brockville. The Stittsville, Ontario native has 25 goals and 34 assists for 59 points in 31 games this season. His point streak is extended to five games.

Third Star: ’01 Ty Nicholson, Athens Aeros (1G / 7A)

Nicholson, 20, had one goal and seven assists in two games. He led his team to two wins against Westport and Whitewater. Nicholson collected 1G/3A against Westport and the 4A against Whitewater. The Smiths Falls, Ontario native is in his final season in the EOJHL and has 19 goals, to go along 26 assists in 25 games this season. He spent four seasons with the Westport Rideaus until he was dealt to Athens for his final year of junior hockey.

Honorable Mention: ’03 Tyler Cutts, Richmond Royals (4G / 1A)

Cutts, 19, had four goals and one assists in three games. Despite only winning one out of three games during the week, Cutts had two goals against OJC on Feb 16th and Feb 19th, which gave him four goals in two games. On Feb 20th against Embrun, he only added one assist. The Kanata, Ontario has six goals and one assists in seven games since joining the Richmond Royals. During his time with Valley, he had five goals and four assists in 19 games.
