Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce its Week 3 Stars of the Week. The First star was awarded to Arnprior Packers forward Jake Coleman who had a monster week, second star went to Nicholas Bell of the Alexandria Glens and third star goes to Richmond forward Dylan Rorwick.
First Star: ’03 Jake Coleman, Arnprior Packers (6G / 8A)
Coleman, 19, had a heck of a week by collecting six goals and eight assists in four games. He scored twice against Carleton Place in a 7-3 win. A Couple of nights later, he had two goals and four assists for six points against Whitewater. On Saturday against Smiths Falls, recorded 1G / 2A, and then added another 1G / 2A against the Jr. Bears. The Almonte, Ontario native leads his team to four victories during the week. He has seven goals and fourteen assists in eight games to start the year.
Second Star: ’04 Nicholas Bell, Alexandria Glens (2G / 3A)
Bell, 18, collected two goals and three assists in three games. He added an assist against Char-Lan, one goal against Casselman and then had 1G / 2A in a high scoring game against Richmond. This is Bell’s second season with the Alexandria Glens. The Ottawa, Ontario native leads his team with three goals and four assists in seven games this season.
Third Star: ’04 Dylan Rorwick, Richmond Royals (3G / 2A)
Rorwick, 18, has recorded points in his first seven games as he has seven goals and six assists. The Kanata, Ontario native had three goals and two assists as his team went 1-2 on the week. He added 1G / 1A vs Winchester, one goal against Casselman and then added two assists against Alexandria.
