Royals Dylan Rorwick Named 2024-25 EOJHL Most Valuable Player

 

OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League (EOJHL) is excited to announce that Dylan Rorwick of the Richmond Royals has been voted the 2024-25 EOJHL Most Valuable Player.

Rorwick, a 2004-born forward from Kanata, Ontario, delivered an exceptional performance throughout the season, showcasing his dominance on the ice and solidifying his place as one of the league’s premier talents. The skilled forward finished the season at the top of the league’s leaderboard with 75 points, including an impressive 45 goals, making him the highest-scoring player in the EOJHL for the year.

Rorwick’s offensive contributions were a major factor in the Richmond Royals’ successful season, where they secured a 5th place overall finish in the highly competitive league. His 45 goals were not only the most in the EOJHL, but they also set him apart from his teammates—he netted 18 more goals and accumulated 30 more points than his nearest competitor within the Royals’ roster, underscoring his irreplaceable value to the team.

Adding to his stellar season, Rorwick demonstrated remarkable consistency with 22 multi-point performances, proving his ability to consistently produce in critical moments. His leadership, skill, and determination played an essential role in driving the Royals forward, earning him the recognition as the league’s most outstanding player.
