Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is proud to announce that Carleton Place Jr. Canadians forward, Ryland Mosley, has won the CCHL2 Top Rookie Award.
Mosley, 18, put on an impressive campaign for the Canadians. In 50 games played with the team so far, Mosley has put up 39 goals and 47 assists making him the 2nd best scorer in the league.
Jr. Canadians Head Coach & GM, Jason Clarke, spoke highly of Mosley’s play and impact to the team.
“Ryland comes to the rink and just works.” said Clarke. “Since Day 1 he has believed in our development model and he has reeped the benefits.”
Clarke also gave a big prediction for Mosley for his next year of hockey.
“He will be a dominant player in the CCHL next year.” Clarke predicted.
Mosley himself has stated that his goal is to move up to CCHL Tier 1 and continue to get better as a player.
“Hopefully move up to Jr. A. Just get better, play my game, and improve everyday.” stated Mosley.
Mosley is already committed to NCAA Division I committing to the Alabama-Huntsville Chargers for the 2019-2020 season.
