Ottawa, ON – It was a fun night in the CCHL Tier 2 as three games were on tap which included Tony Iob’s coaching debut with the Whitewater Kings.

F/OT | Winchester 6, Whitewater 5

Miguel Pare capped off a five-point performance after collecting his first career hat trick plus the OT winner. It’s his second career five-point game. The last time he scored five points was on November 10th, 2017 against Ottawa West with 1G / 4A. Kuehni had 1G / 2A while Buffone and Johnson each had a multi-point night.

Dylan Kuehl and Liam Enright each tallied two goals in Tony Iob’s coaching debut with Whitewater. Cybulski had three helpers and Barber had the other marker plus ab assist. Whitewater outshot Winchester 41-37.

Char-Lan 1, Brockville 0

It’s the second time this season that the Rebels won 1-0. They did that against Ottawa West on October 20th. Grant Craig made 37 saves for his third career shutout and second of the season. Justice Brownlee had the GWG in the second period.

Seguin and Fiacco each tallied one assist on the only goal. Jordan Yamerchuk made 19 saves on 20 shots. Brockville has now lost four straight games and have one goal in their last three games. Char-Lan bounces back after suffering a tough loss on the road against the Golden Knights on Thursday.

F/OT | Carleton Place 2, Athens 1

Stef Hawkins scores the OT Winner to give Carleton Place their 11th win of the season. Chris Meininger and Andrew McKenney each tallied one goal from both teams. Mitchell Rukavina made 50 saves of 52 shots on the night.

Carleton Place goes to 2-1 in the month of November while Athens are 1-1-1 to start the month. Canadians outshot the Aeros 52-28. Brody Bernard made 27 saves.
