Saturday November 3rd Recap

Ottawa, ON – Four games were on tap on a busy Saturday night. Athens, Casselman, Carleton Place and Winchester were able to pick up big victories.

F/OT | Athens 3, Embrun 2

The Panthers were able to comeback down 2-0 to tie it up to force OT. Max Brinie scored the OT winner 56 seconds into extra time to snap the Aeros seven game losing streak. McTamney and Servage each tallied one goal.

Brosseau scored shorthanded and O’Toole scored at even strength in the Panthers loss. Embrun outshot Athens 36-24.

Casselman 4, Char-Lan 3

Mathieu Talbot collects his first hat trick to lead the Vikings to their ninth straight win and 13th of the year. Joshua Péladeau added two helpers on the four goals. Hunt had the other goal for Casselman.

Sam Ferland tallied one goal, two assists in three-point effort as the Rebels attempted to comeback against Casselman. Markell and Reifler each had 1G / 1A. Vikings outshot Rebels 36-24.

F/SO | Winchester 5, Alexandria 4

Randall and Kuehni had the shootout winners in two rounds to edge Alexandria to their second straight victory this week. Pare collects two goals while MacDonald and Clemen each had 1G / 1A in two-point night. Pledge Dickson made 44 saves in the win.

St-Surin, Gibeault and Stacey each tallied one goal, one assist in tough shootout loss. The Hawks were outshot by Alexandria by ten 48-38.

Carleton Place 7, Richmond 4

The losing way continues for Richmond. They’ve now lost two straight games. Code collects three assists while Marshall, Richmond, Lightfoot and Hill each tally one goal, one assist in the win. Carleton Place outshot Richmond 36-34.

Bouley and Arts each had 1G / 1A. Cooper picks up his 1st goal this year and Goodfellow scores his 6th this season with Richmond.
