Saturday Recap | Six Games

Ottawa, ON – It was a busy Saturday night in Tier 2 with six games.

F | Perth 4, Brockville 3

The Blue Wings comeback down 3-1 early to defeat Brockville for the second time and now lead the season series 2-1. They are just one point back of first place in the Richardson Division. Symington scores twice while Wilson had 1 G / 1 A.

Miller and Power each tally two assists. Tyler Toomey scores a natural hat-trick in the Tikis first loss since December 21st against Arnprior. They snap their seven-game winning streak. Perth is now 3-0-1 in their last four games.

F | Renfrew 3, Alexandria 1

All of the goals came in the second period. Luka Marinic had a goal on the power play and Brad Richardson collects two goals plus the GWG. The Timberwolves have won three of their last four games. Marinic has 10 points in his last four games.

Mathieu Parent had the only goal for Alexandria in the loss. The Glens have lost two consecutive games. Prior to that, Alexandria were on a four game winning streak and now are 4-4 since the start of 2019.

F | Athens 3, Richmond 2

The Aeros were able to snap a six game losing streak and get their first win in 2019. Jacob Servage had a multi-point game with one goal and one assist. Webster and Kingston had the other goals in the second period.

Cousens and Arts had the Royals goals. Richmond has loss four of their last five games.

F/SO | Whitewater 5, Westport 4

The Kings have won their first shootout in franchise history after four attempts this season. Last year, only one of their games went to overtime and it came on Sept 16th 2017 against Renfrew in a 2-1 win. Alec Lindecker gets the first shootout winner in franchise history.

Kuehl, Campitelli, Oki and Cybulski had goals for Whitewater. Cahill collects two assists including a shootout goal. The Kings snap a three game losing streak. Seed (1 G / 1 A) and Kettyle (2 A) had two-point nights in the Rideaus loss. They go to 1-1-1 during the week.

F/OT | Embrun 4, Char-Lan 3

Riley Carisse who is a call up from the U18 Jr. Sens Midget AAA collects two goals and two assists including the tying goal in third and the OT winner. Beaudoin and Hamilton were the other goal scorers for Embrun. The Panthers snap a five-game losing streak.

Brennan Markell had 1 G / 1 A in the Rebels loss. Testani and Huntley had the other goals for Char-Lan. They’ve now lost eight of their last nine games.

F/OT | Winchester 4, Arnprior 3

Cameron Cotnam had 1 G / 1 A including the OT winner to give Winchester their second consecutive win on back-to-back nights. Schroeder scored the game tying goals with under five minutes left in regulation while Fleming (1 G / 1 A) and Meldrum (2 A) each collect two points.

Cherry, Rivard and Bones each tally one goal in the Packers loss. They’ve now loss three consecutive games.
