Ottawa, ON – Whitewater took on Athens for the 3rd time in 2019, Winchester traveled to Char-Lan and Carleton Place hosted Renfrew on Saturday night.

F | Whitewater 3, Athens 0

The Kings defeated Athens for the third time in 2019 and win their season series 3-1. Enright, Edwards and Vanhoof each collect one goal in a three goal second period. Bennett Oxborough makes 29 saves for his first shutout this season.

The Aeros have now lost four consecutive games. Whitewater outshot Athens 45-29. They are 3-1 to start 2019.

F | Winchester 5, Char-Lan 2

The Rebels were leading 2-0 early until the Hawks would go onto score five unanswered goals to get their 11th win this season. Kyle Kuehni and Eric DeRepentigny each tallied two goals and Andrew Black had two assists. He has four assists in his first three games with Winchester.

Resse Donnelly also registers the only two goals for Char-Lan. Winchester snaps their six game losing streak while the Rebels losing streak goes to seven games.

F/SO | Renfrew 5, Carleton Place 4

Noah Maika had one assist and the shootout winner in the 5th round. Brad Richardson collects 1G / 2A while Luka Marinic scores twice. The Timberwolves once had a 4-2 lead in the final frame. Renfrew is 2-2 to start 2019.

Spencer Marshall had two goals and Jake Code registers 1G / 1A. Carleton Place outshot Renfrew 39-34. The Canadians snap their two game winning streak.
