Sean Marcellus steps down as EOJHL Commissioner

 

Ottawa, Ontario – The EOJHL has announced that Sean Marcellus has stepped down as EOJHL Commissioner. Marcellus was in his first season as EOJHL commissioner and was named EOJHL Commissioner over the summer.

Marcellus is a native of Arnprior, Ontario and a graduate of the Durham College Sports Administration program, who joined the Central Canada Hockey league back in the 2015 season as Operations Manager. Before he was EOJHL Commissioner, he joined the CCHL as Operations Manager in 2015 and expanded his role as Director of Operations.

Over the years, he was worked alongside CCHL Commissioner Kevin Abrams. Abrams at the start of the season said that Marcellus has been working tirelessly hours over the last five years. After one year in the CCHL, it turned into five years and has done a terrific job.

The EOJHL would like to thank Sean Marcellus for his time in the EOJHL and for putting lots of hours. His leadership will always be great around the people that he worked with and will be missed. An interim Commissioner will be announced very soon.
