Game Recap

Ottawa 6 Carleton Place 0

The champs picked up right where they left off. Ottawa’s offense was led by Mattias Cote and Riley Bloom, who each struck twice, while Dax McKinnon and Danik Marion chipped in with singles. Between the pipes, Darcy Murphy turned aside all 11 shots he faced to secure the opening night shutout.

For Carleton Place, Sebastien Janisch and Callum Clare split time in goal, but the visitors couldn’t find an answer to Ottawa’s balanced attack.
