Ottawa, ON – Two games of EOJHL action on Saturday saw a couple close fought victories from the Arnprior Packers and Embrun Panthers.

Arnprior 4 Glengarry 3 OT
In a game that saw the Glengarry Brigade make a late comeback, the Arnprior Packers would ultimately claim the victory in overtime. Scoring in regulation for Arnprior was Devran Brown, Landon Mackay, and Kyler Leboutillier, while EOJHL leading scorer and rookie Carter Downs netted the overtime winner. Goaltender Mavric Welk finished with 43-saves for the victory. Scoring for Glengarry was Connor MacDonald, Nolan MacMillan, and Manny Benoit, while Maxime Mayer finished with 41-saves in the losing effort.
Embrun 7 Carleton Place 6
The Embrun Panthers scored three times in the final three minutes to storm back for a come from behind victory over Carleton Place. Embrun had a two-goal effort from Camden Cunningham-Fetch, while they also got singles from Owen Raine, Alexis Methot, Liam Murdoch, Yanik Major, and Yanick Blanchard who scored the game-winning goal with under a minute remaining. Cedric Nadon picked up the win in a relief appearance. Carleton Place had two-goals from Truan Conrad, and solo tucks from Zach LaPier, Lukas Vander Vecht, Gabriel Bergeron, and William McCulligh, while Alex Beaulne made 33-saves in the loss.
