Ottawa, ON – Tuesday EOJHL action saw the Ottawa Jr. Canadians edge Renfrew in a high-scoring battle.

The Ottawa Jr. Canadians stormed back from a three-goal deficit to top the Renfrew Timberwolves 5-4 on home ice.
Renfrew jumped out to a 3-0 lead on goals from Daxton Markwick (twice) and Colton Vereyken, but the Canadians responded with four unanswered tallies. Mattias Côté, Thomas Robillard, Jacob Perreault, and Mathias Prud’homme-Foster all found the back of the net in the second period to flip the game in Ottawa’s favor.
Preston Charron tied things up for Renfrew midway through the third on the power play, but Dax Mckinnon sealed the victory for Ottawa with a late marker at 19:01.
Jackson Curran stopped 17 shots in the win for Ottawa, while Dawson Zadorozny turned aside 41 saves in a strong effort for Renfrew despite the loss.
