Sunday November 4th Recap

Ottawa, Ontario – Three games were in action on Sunday, with Ottawa West, Westport and Char-Lan picking up big wins.

F | Ottawa West 5, Richmond 2

The Golden Knights snapped their three-game road losing streak on Sunday. Justin Jamer (2G) and Max Bush (2G) helped Ottawa West to victory. They outshot Richmond 38-33, picking up their second win of the week, going 2-1 in week seven.

Corey Symington scored twice in the Royals loss. Richmond went 1-3 this week.

F | Westport 3, Perth 2

The Rideaus skated away with a big victory in one of the biggest rivalry’s in the CCHL2. Griffin Patterson scored the overtime winner. Kaleb Griffin made 44 saves in the win.

Perth was trailing 2-0 after two and scored two unanswered goals in the third period to force extra-time and salvage a point. Mack Miller had 1G/1A in the loss. Shots were 46-36 for Perth.

F | Char-Lan 4, Carleton Place 1

Jacob Cook scored twice and Ryan Reifler had two points (1G/1A) in the Rebels win, snapping their three-game skid. They also went 1-5 on the power-play and were outshot by CP 33-31.

James Lister scored the Canadians goal in the loss, finishing the week 1-2.
