Shiman nets a CCHL2 season-high seven points

Casselman 4, Richmond 1

The Vikings would go on to score four unanswered goals, but the Royals would break the shutout by scoring near the end of the game. Hunt tallies 1G / 1A. Chabot got the GWG in the first period. Légaré and Rousselle each had one goal.

Danny Carroll had the only goal in the loss. Mathieu Chénier made 34 saves in the win. He is 9-0 on the season in 10 games. Cassselman outshot Richmond 51-35.

Whitewater 10, Char-Lan 3

The big story was Artyom Shiman. He collected 3G / 4A in his first seven-point game this year and his first career hat-trick. He also becomes the first CCHL2 player to score seven points in a game this season. Alex Lindecker and Quinn Vanhoof each collect hat tricks in the blowout win. The Kings have now won two consecutive games.

The Rebels were only playing 14 players throughout the entire game. Mathieu Sabourin had two goals in the loss. He has five points in his last two games after going six games without registering a point. Whitewater out-shot Char-Lan 40-23.

Perth 3, Embrun 0

Darien Johnson made 19 saves for his second career shutout and his first of the season. His last shutout came on October 27th, 2017 when he was with the Westport Rideaus.

MacKechnie, Miller and Symington were the goal scorers for Perth. The Panthers have now allowed 10 unanswered goals in their last three games dating back on November 29th when they allowed the game winner in Casselman.
