Ottawa, Ontario – Just two games were in action on Sunday afternoon. The Char-Lan Rebels bounced back with an 8-1 win over Richmond and Whitewater defeated Carleton Place at home for their second straight win.

The Rebels score a season-high eight goals in just their second win this month. Craig Campbell tallied five assists while Liam MacDonald and Isaac Testani registered two goals. Grant Craig made 46-saves for his eighth win of the season.
Char-Lan is currently in the fifth and final playoff spot in the Martin Division and are five points behind the Alexandria Glens for fourth.
In the loss, Owen Nevins scored fourth of the season. The Royals have lost four straight games.

Tommy Cahill scored twice while Vanhoof, Burnette and Kuehl netted two apples in the Kings second consecutive win in as many games. Whitewater scored four unanswered goals between the first and second period, en-route to victory.
The Canadians outshot the Kings 33-25. Carleton Place is now 3-1-1 in January with two more games to play next week.
