Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa West Golden Knights defeated the Richmond Royals 5-3 on Thursday night at the Barbara Ann Scott Arena.

The Golden Knights were trailing 2-0 midway through the second period and managed to score five unanswered goals for the lead.

Michael Gallivan netted his first career hat-trick and 15-year-old forward Trenton Corrigan scored his first career CCHL2 goal in the win. Ottawa West went 4-7 on the power-play and led the shots 51-33 – improving to 3-1 in December.

The Royals Danny Carroll tallied two assists while Goodfellow scored against his former team.
