Ottawa, Ontario – The Ottawa West Golden Knights (16-7-2) defeated the Winchester Hawks (8-13-2) on Thursday night at the Barbara Ann Scott arena.
The Golden Knights’ even the season-series 1-1 and improve to 13-3 against Winchester since the 2015-16 season.
The Ottawa West Golden Knights scored a season-high four unanswered goals in the second period to take a 4-1 lead before coming away with a 5-1 win.
Max Bush (1G/2A) netted three-points for his second three-point game of his career. Nolan Marshall, Justin Jamer and Michael Gallivan each had 1G/1A. Ottawa West outshot Winchester 39-20.
The Hawks dressed nine forwards and six defense in the loss. Kyle Fleming scored the opening goal early in the first period.
