Ottawa, ON – Two games were on tap, Thursday night. It was DIFD night at Barbara Ann Scott Arena where Ottawa West took on Arnprior for the first time this season and then at the Jr Brisson Complex, Casselman hosted Renfrew.
The Golden Knights bounced back from a 8-1 loss to OJC on Tuesday with a 9-0 effort. Haw and Haymes each tallied two goals. Haw also picked up his first three-point night of his career.
Justin Jamer and Graeme Rogers also had 1G / 2A in a three-point performance. Mitchell Bown made 28 saves for his 2nd career CCHL Tier 2 shutout.
Casselman 5, Renfrew 1
Vikings scored five unanswered goals in their 15th win of the season. Patterson, Légaré and Talbot each collected 1G / 1A. Péladeau picked up the GWG and Chabot had three assists. They’ve now won two straight games.
Brad Benvenuti had the only goal for Renfrew in the loss. Casselman out-shot Renfrew 54-22. Vikings went 2/5 on the power play as well.
