Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa Canadians hosted the Casselman Vikings at the Earl Armstrong Arena on Tuesday night.

The Canadians were trailing 3-1 during the final frame and in the last 10 minutes of regulation, they scored four unanswered goals to win their 10th consecutive games. It is the third time this season that Ottawa has won 10 straight games or more.

Noel De Kamp collects two goals while Pickard and Turner each register two assists. Mike Hall collects an assist plus the game-winning-goal on the power play. De Kamp and Seguin each extend their point streaks to four games while Freel’s one goal extends his point streak to seven games.

Louis Chabot, Shawn Patterson and Jason Cossette each collect one goal in the Vikings second consecutive loss. They are 5-1-1 in January with one game to go this month while Ottawa went 7-0 this month. The last time the Canadians went undefeated in a month was in September.

The Canadians win the season series three games to one and outscored Casselman 12-9 in four games. Ottawa has seven games left and is now six wins away from tying the Vikings 15-16 and 17-18 record for most wins in a CCHL2 season. In able for them to break the record at 41 wins, they’ll need to win all of their remaining games.
