Ottawa, ON – There were only two games on Wednesday night. Alexandria vs Winchester and Perth traveled to take on the Brockville Tikis.

F/OT | Perth 4, Brockville 3

Ryan Bonfield complete’s the comeback, scoring a natural hat-trick with the overtime winner. They were trailing 3-0 once again and got the job done. Ethan Greene had the first goal prior to Bonfield’s hat-trick. The Blue Wings have won two consecutive games.

Dennis Fisher, Paul Fine-Lease and Logan Gallagher each tallied one goal in the first period. The Tikis are tied with Westport for 1st in the Richardson Division and still remain two points up on the Blue Wings in the standings.

F | Alexandria 3, Winchester 1

Mikael Gibeault scores twice and Reggy St-Surin put the game away with under a minute left in regulation. The Glens have won two consecutive games. They can clinch home ice advantage in the Wild Card Series with a win on Friday against Casselman or a Char-Lan loss.

Kyle Kuehni collects the only goal for the Hawks. Lucas Devries made 49 saves on 51 shots in the loss.  They are one loss away from not making the post-season for the second consecutive year. In order for them to make the playoffs, they’ll need to win their remaining four games and will need the Rebels to lose all their games in regulation.

A Hawks regulation loss on Friday or any loss in their next four games will eliminate them from the playoffs. Char-Lan could also pick up a win in their next four and clinch the fifth and final playoff spot.
