Week 10 Power-Rankings

  1. Ottawa Canadians (21-1-0) | Last week: 1 | Results: 10-1W vs ALX | The Canadians scored 10 GF for the second straight week in a row. They’ve now recorded 10 or more goals in a contest four times this season. Also, it’s the second time this year that they’ve scored 10 goals vs. Alexandria.

 

  1. Casselman Vikings (16-5-0) | Last week: 2 | Results: 5-1W vs WHT | Casselman hosted the first ever school day game in CCHL2 history. They drew over 400 Kids in a 5-1 win despite playing short due to injuries.

 

  1. Ottawa West Golden Knights (14-7-1) | Last week: 3 | Results: 6-3L vs WIN, 4-3OTW at WPR | Golden Knights remain at #3 but the injury bug has hit them. They had a bad start against Winchester which ended in defeat. on Friday they came back down 3-1 at Westport and won in OT.
  1. Perth Blue Wings (12-6-2) | Last week: 4 | Results: 4-2L at REN, 3-2OTW at ATH | After a tough loss against Renfrew, Sharpley scored with 0.9 left in OT to edge Athens. They put 62 shots up in the comeback victory.

 

  1. Westport Rideaus (13-6-2) | Last week: 5 | Results: 4-3OTL vs OW, 8-6W at CPB | Lots of things happened this week for the Rideaus. They suffered a tough OT loss at the hands of Ottawa West and then bounced back against CPC. Alex Zoutis became first goalie to score a goal in four years.

 

  1. Arnprior Packers (11-6-2) | Last week: 8 | Results: 3-2W vs CPB | Arnprior picks-up their first win of November. They end the month 1-4.

 

  1. Char-Lan Rebels (11-8-2) | Last week: 7 | Results: 5-2W at WIN, 4-3L vs ALX | The Rebels were trailing against Winchester at one point, but their four straight goals brought them to victory. Saturday night saw them having a one goal lead before a collapse in the final 66 seconds of regulation.

 

  1. Carleton Place Jr. Canadians (12-10-1) | Last week: 6 | Results: 3-2L at ARN, 8-6L vs WPR | This week, the Canadians suffered a one-goal loss to Arnprior and a third period blown lead against the Westport Rideaus.

 

  1. Brockville Tikis (8-7-3) | Last week: 9 | Results: 5-3W vs REN, 3-2L at ALX | The Tikis were trailing in the second period but found a way get themselves the victory against Renfrew. They then couldn’t hang on to a 2-1 lead against Alexandria.

 

  1. Alexandria Glens (10-10-2) | Last week: 11 | Results: 10-1L at OJC, 3-2W vs BRO, 4-3W at CHR | After a tough loss to start the week, the Glens came back twice – first against Brockville at home and then on the road against Char-Lan.

 

  1. Renfrew Timberwolves (9-11-1) | Last week: 10 | Results: 5-3L at BRO, 4-2W vs PER | The Timberwolves’ couldn’t keep their lead on Wednesday but were able to beat a tough Blue Wings team on Friday night. Three of their four goals came on the power play. They are 3-3 in the month of November after one game got postponed.

 

  1. Embrun Panthers (6-11-5) | Last week: 12 | Results: 4-3SOL vs RCH | In the last six games, Embrun has been apart of one goal contests. During those six, they’ve only picked up one win and three points in extra time. They now have points in three consecutive games.

 

  1. Winchester Hawks (7-11-2) | Last week: 13 | Results: 6-3W at OW, 5-2L vs CHR, 6-3L vs WHT | The Hawks picked up a big victory on the road in Ottawa on Thursday night. They are 4-1 on the road their last five games and have won four straight games on the road.

 

  1. Athens Aeros (5-9-5) | Last week: 14 | Results: 3-2OTL vs PER | One of their games got postponed on Saturday night due to weather conditions. Mitchell Rukavina made 59 saves against Perth in a tough OT loss.

 

  1. Whitewater Kings (4-10-4) | Last week: 15 | Results: 5-1L at CAS, 6-3W at WIN | Whitewater snps their 10-game skid and Tony Iob picks up his first win as a Head Coach since coming onto the scene.

 

  1. Richmond Royals (5-14) | Last Week: 16 | Results: 4-3SOW at EMB | Richmond ends the month 2-4 after winning two straight games against Arnprior last week and Embrun this week by coming back to win in a shootout.
