Week 12 Power-Rankings

  1. Ottawa Canadians (24-1-1) | Last week: 1 | Results: 10-4W vs EMB, 3-2OTL at ALX | The Canadians dominated against Embrun but were shocked when they went into extra times for the first time this season. It ended up in their second loss on the road against Alexandria.

 

  1. Casselman Vikings (19-5-1) | Last week: 2 | Results: 4-3OTL at ATH | The Vikings are always a team that likes to comeback from two goal deficits. They did against Athens but wasn’t enough in the OT frame. They’ll have an opportunity against a tough OJC team. Casselman has not beaten them this year.

 

  1. Ottawa West Golden Knights (17-7-2) | Last week: 3 | Results: 5-1W vs WIN, 7-5W at ARN | The Golden knights just keep put up very good performances. Ottawa West has points in their last five games (4-0-1). Bush put up an amazing week by tallying seven points.

 

  1. Perth Blue Wings (16-7-2) | Last week: 4 | Results: 3-1W vs WPR, 4-2W at WHT | These games were very close but able to preserve victory. The Blue Wings have won four straight games. Symington finished the week with 2G / 1A.

 

  1. Westport Rideaus (13-8-3) | Last week: 5 | Results: 3-1L at PER, 5-4OTL vs ALX | Very tough week overall but still remain at 5 with the Tikis on the way possible being in top 5. They lost to Perth in their barn but had a hard time when facing off against Alexandria.

 

  1. Brockville Tikis (11-8-3) | Last week: 9 | Results: 5-1W vs REN, 4-1W at CPB | The Tikis are rolling and almost in the top five. They outscored the opponents 9-2 this week. Brockville beat a very good team against Carleton Place by scoring early.

 

  1. Char-Lan Rebels (13-9-2) | Last week: 8 | Results: 4-3OTW at ARN | This was the Rebels only game this week. They have a positive record, but their goal differential is negative despite being 4th in the Martin Division.

 

  1. Alexandria Glens (13-11-2) | Last week: 10 | Results: 3-2OTW vs OJC, 5-4OTW at WPR | This was a big week for the Glens. Both of their games went into extra time and were able to pick up two key wins this week.

 

  1. Carleton Place Jr. Canadians (14-11-1) | Last week: 6 | Results: 4-3OTW at REN, 4-1L vs BRO | After their win against Renfrew, they couldn’t get to a good start. They allowed three goals in the first period and that was the difference.

 

  1. Arnprior Packers (11-8-3) | Last week: 7 | Results: EXH: 6-0L vs BER, 4-3OTL vs CHR, 7-5L vs OW | The Packers play in an exhibition against Berlin on Wednesday and learned a lot of things in that game. This week it was different, they were able to score nine goals, but defense and goaltending were the biggest problems.

 

  1. Renfrew Timberwolves (10-13-1) | Last week: 11 | Results: 4-3OTL at CPB, 5-2W at WIN | This team was able to bounce back with a win against Winchester after losing a lead late in regulation against Carleton Place.

 

  1. Athens Aeros (7-9-5) | Last week: 14 | Results: 4-3OTW vs CAS, 3-2OTW at WHT | How about these Aeros. They came to play against Casselman then Whitewater on back to back nights. Aeros did lead against Casselman but were able to get themselves to victory.

 

  1. Winchester Hawks (9-14-2) | Last week: 12 | Results: 5-1L at OW, 6-5SOW vs RCH, 5-2L at WIN | Only one win for the Hawks. It came in a shootout in a high scoring affair. They allowed five goals in three consecutive games this week.

 

  1. Whitewater Kings (5-11-5) | Last week: 13 | Results: 4-2L vs PER, 3-2OTL vs ATH | The Kings are not able to get themselves together when it came to their home games. Had the lead twoice against Athens but couldn’t finish.

 

  1. Embrun Panthers (7-15-5) | Last week: 15 | Results: 10-4 at OJC, 2-1W at RCH | The offense from Embrun was shut down in the hands of OJC Tuesday then a close contest against Richmond and got victory.

 

  1. Richmond Royals (5-17-1) | Last Week: 16 | Results: 6-5SOL at WIN, 2-1L vs EMB | Another tough week for Richmond. They can’t seem to find a way to win hockey games.
