  1. Ottawa Canadians (27-2-1) | Last week: 2 | Results: 8-0W vs ARN, 4-2W at BRO, 4-3W at CHR | After a blowout win against Arnprior, this team showed how they can win one goal contests with close victories against Brockville and Char-Lan. They will be even more dangerous once the playoffs begin.

 

  1. Casselman Vikings (21-6-1) | Last week: 1 | Results: None | No games this week. The Vikings had their game postponed against Perth due to Freezing rain warnings. The forecast never came into play.

 

  1. Ottawa West Golden Knights (18-8-2) | Last week: 3 | Results: 5-3W vs RCH | The Golden Knights showed lots of character by coming back down two goals in the second period and netting five unanswered goals. They end the first half on a good note.

 

  1. Perth Blue Wings (16-8-3) | Last week: 4 | Results: None | Same with this team. Due to freezing rain warnings, they were unable to play against Casselman. This game will be rescheduled in 2019.

 

  1. Westport Rideaus (15-9-3) | Last week: 6 | Results: 5-1W vs CPB, 5-3W at ATH | Zoutis became the hero after stopping 50 shots in their win against Carleton Place. Against Athens, they came away with their second consecutive victory before the holidays.

 

  1. Brockville Tikis (13-9-5) | Last week: 5 | Results: 4-2L vs OJC, 2-1OTL at ARN | Their performance vs. OJC proves that the Tikis can compete against the top team in the league. They found themselves in a close contest against Arnprior but were able to pick up one point.

 

  1. Carleton Place Jr. Canadians (16-12-1) | Last week: 7 | Results: 5-1L at WPR | The Canadians finish this month 4-2 in six games. They outplayed the Rideaus in the shot category.

 

  1. Alexandria Glens (15-11-3) | Last week: 9 | Results: 5-1W vs RCH | The Glens have picked up at least 1 point in their last six contests. They went 4-0-1 in December. This maybe an opportunity to chase Ottawa West for 3rd place in the Martin Division like last year.

 

  1. Char-Lan Rebels (14-12-2) | Last week: 8 | Results: 4-3L at OJC | The Rebels showed character by making it close against OJC on the final game of 2019.

 

  1. Renfrew Timberwolves (12-13-2) | Last week: 11 | Results: 6-5OTW vs WHT | High scoring contest against Whitewater. Marinic and McIntyre each had amazing performances including McIntyre’s game winning hat-trick.

 

  1. Arnprior Packers (13-11-3) | Last week: 10 | Results: 8-0L at OJC, 2-1OTW vs BRO, 8-2L at WHT | Very tough end to 2019. It was obvious that they couldn’t compete against OJC, but they playe good pagainst Brockville but then somehow got blown out against Whitewater, allowing eight goals.

 

  1. Athens Aeros (9-11-5) | Last week: 12 | Results: 5-3L vs WPR, 7-3W at RCH | The Aeros found themselves with a loss against Westport but then bounced back against Richmond on Sunday afternoon. They are 4-2 in December with back-to-back games against Arnprior.

 

  1. Embrun Panthers (10-16-5) | Last week: 14 | Results: 5-0W at WIN | Josh Ivanski picked up his first CCHL2 shutout. Caron with two goals then Martin picked up a three-point performance. The Panthers have won two consecutive games.

 

  1. Winchester Hawks (10-16-3) | Last week: 13 | Results: 5-0L vs EMB | The Hawks couldn’t find a way to score against a young Embrun Panthers unit. They only had three wins this month.

 

  1. Whitewater Kings (6-13-6) | Last week: 16 | Results: 6-5OTL at REN, 8-2W vs ARN | The Kings can compete with anybody in this league after losing a high scoring game against Renfrew. The Kings go into the break on a good note after a win against Arnprior.

 

 

  1. Richmond Royals (8-20-1) | Last Week: 15 | Results: 5-3L at OW, 5-1L at ALX, 7-3L vs ATH | Last week the Royals had three consecutive wins but this week it’s the opposite as they went 0-3.
