Ottawa, Ontario – The CCHL2 is proud to announce it’s Week 14 Stars of the Week.
First Star: ’98 F Andrew McIntyre (Renfrew Timberwolves)
McIntyre, 20, finished off his four-point night and fourth career hat-trick with the overtime winner in a 6-5 win over Whitewater on Friday night. The Cobden, Ontario native leads the CCHL2 in goals (29) and in points (58) this season.
Second Star: ’99 D Constantine Tzougarakis (Ottawa Canadians)
Tzougarakis, 19, scored one goal and five assists while playing in two of the Canadians three games played this week. The Laval, Quebec native two three-point games this week gives him six multi-point efforts this season. Among CCHL2 defensemen, he ranks tied for second in points with 23 this season.
Third Star: ’99 G Alex Zoutis (Westport Rideaus)
Zoutis, 19, won his 35th career game on Friday when he allowed just one goal on 51 shots against the Carleton Place Jr. Canadians. The Ottawa, Ontario native is now 9-5 with a 3.88 GAA / .906 SV % this year.
HM: 00 F Andrew McKenney (Athens Aeros)
McKenney, 18, tallied a career high five points (1G / 4A) on Sunday and finished the week with one goal and five assists in two games. He now leads the Aeros in points (24) in 25 games.
