Week 16 Stars of the Week

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is proud to announce it’s Week 16 Stars of the Week.

First Star: ’01 F Dylan Kuehl (Whitewater Kings)

Kuehl, 17, caped off an eight point week (2GP – 5G / 3 A) with a career high five points (3G  /2A) in a 9-3 win over the Athens Aeros on Sunday. He led the Kings to an impressive 2-0 week and extended his point-streak to five games, where he has 12 points (6G / 6A) during that time. The Killaloe, Ontario native leads the Kings in assists (19) while ranking second in points (33) and goals (14) in just 27 games this season. 

Second Star: ’99 F Brad Richardson (Renfrew Timberwolves)

Richardson, 19, totaled five goals and one assist – helping the Timberwolves to a 1-1 week. The Nepean, Ontario native scored a career high four goals in a 5-4 win over the Alexandria Glens on Friday and now has nine goals and one assist in five games since joining Renfrew’s roster.

Third Star: ’01 F Tyler Toomey (Brockville Tikis)

Toomey, 17, led the Tikis to a 7-3 win over the Westport Rideaus on Friday – scoring a career high five points (2G / 3A). The Hillsburgh, Ontario native picked up sixth multi-point game of the season and and extended his point-streak to three games (5G / 5 A). He currently leads the Tikis roster in points (33) and assists (20).

HM: ’01 F Jeremy Cyr (Embrun Panthers)

Cyr, 17, scored two goals and three assists in two games, helping the Panthers to a 1-1 week. He is now on a career high three game point-streak (2G / 6A) after three straight multi-point games. After having just eight points through he first 22 games, Cyr has 12 points (4G / 8A) over his last seven games. The  Russell, Ontario native leads the Panthers roster in points (20 and assists (11) after 29 games.
