Week 19 Stars of the Week

Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is pleased to announce it’s Week 19 Stars of the Week.

First Star: ’98 F Ty Power (Perth Blue Wings)

Power, 20, totaled seven assists in two games last week, as the Blue Wings went 2-0 with wins over Renfrew and Brockville. He has 16-points in seven games since joining Perth’s roster and is on a five game point-streak heading into Week 20. The Ottawa, Ontario native ranks third in assists (39) and is tied for fifth in league scoring (54).

2nd Star: ’00 F Matt Berry (Athens Aeros) 

Berry, 18, scored three goals and one assist, helping the Aeros to a 1-1 record last week. The Athens, Ontario native scored a hat-trick against Westport on Friday and recorded an assist against the Richmond Royals on Saturday. He has 26 points (16G/10A) in 34 games this season.

Third Star: ’98 F Lucas Brown (Ottawa West Golden Knights)

Brown, 20, recorded six-points (2G/4A) in three games, leading the Golden Knights to a 2-1 record. After tallying one assist against the Ottawa Jr Canadians on Tuesday, Brown had multi-point games in wins over Westport and Alexandria. The Carp, Ontario native has 24 points (7G/17A) in 25 games this season.

HM: ’98 F Blake Kettyle (Westport Rideaus)

Kettyle, 19, netted seven assists in three games, as the Rideaus’ went 1-2 last week. The Perth, Ontario native is now on a six game point-streak heading into Week 20, and is second in league scoring with 60 points (25G/35A) in 33 games.
