Ottawa, Ontario – The Central Canada Hockey League Tier 2 is please to announce it’s Week 20 Stars of the Week.

First Star: ’99 G Alex Zoutis (Westport Rideaus)

Zoutis, 19, allowed two goals on 56 shots in a 4-2 win over the first place Ottawa Jr. Canadians on Friday – snapping their 10-game winning streak. He has now won three of his last four starts, having made 40 plus saves in each of the last four. The Ottawa, Ontario native is 12-6, 3.91 GAA / .909 SV% this season.

Second Star: ’00 F Jared Campitelli (Whitewater Kings) 

Campitelli, 18, capped off a three point night (2G/1A) when he scored the overtime winner in a 4-3 win over the Casselman Vikings on Saturday. He now extends his point-streak to six games (6G/6A) and his goal-streak to four games. The Pemborke, Ontario native has 11 goals and 20 points in 29 games in his second season with the Kings.

Third Star: ’01 F Justin Jamer (Ottawa West Golden Knights)

Jamer, 17, scored two goals and two assists in two games last week, leading the Golden Knights to wins over Carleton Place and Char-Lan. After going without a point for six straight games, Jamer has points in four straight games (4G/3A). The Ottawa, Ontario native has 31 points (14G/17A) in 27 games this season.

HM: ’00 F Jason Cossette (Casselman Vikings)

Cossette, 18, netted two goals and three assists in three games this week, as the Vikings went 1-1-1. He has points in eight of his last nine games (5G/6A) after going four games without a point. The Ottawa, Ontario native currently has 15 goals and 27 points in 36 games this season.
