Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the week 6 three stars of the week. The first star goes to Alexandria Glens forward Vincent Boyle, who got eight points in a three win week. Second Star is Sam Klawitter of the Arnrpior Packers and third star went to Ben Anderson of the Perth Blue Wings.
First Star: ’04 Vincent Boyle, Alexandria Glens (3G / 5A)
Boyle, 18, had an amazing week with the Glens by collecting three goals and five assists in three games. On November 1st against OJC, he collected two goals for three points. It would be his second two goal game of his EOJHL career. It led them to a 5-4 win over OJC. Boyle would continue his hot streak by collecting two assists in a 5-3 win over Ottawa West. The Vankleek Hill, Ontario would finish the week by collecting the OT winner against Char-Lan for a three point night. He has five goals and eight assists in 13 games this season.
Second Star: ’03 Sam Klawitter, Arnprior Packers (2G / 4A)
Klawitter, 19, had two goals and four assists in three games this week. He turned in an outstanding performance against Valley on November 2nd by collecting one goals and four assists for five points. it would be his second five-point game of the season. The last time Klawitter had five points was on October 14th against Whitewater. The Killaloe, Ontario native would collect one goal against Smiths Falls in a 3-1 win to end the week. He has twelve goals, to go along with 21 assists and 33 points. Klawitter is now tied his own teammate Jake Coleman for the league lead in points.
Third Star: ’02 Ben Anderson, Perth Blue Wings (3G)
Anderson, 20, had three goals in two victories over Arnprior and Valley. He collected the game winner on November 4th late into the second period and then added two more goals late in the second and third periods against Valley in a 7-3 win. Anderson is on a six game point streak. During that stretch, he has seven goals and four assists. The Ottawa, Ontario native is in his final season in the EOJHL and has nine goals and seven assists in 10 games this season.
