Ottawa, Ontario – The only game Tuesday featured the Char-Lan Rebels on the road to play the Ottawa Jr. Canadians. Wednesday night had Brockville hosting Carleton Place. Finally, Thursday night witness Casselman taking on Char-Lan and Ottawa West facing off against Richmond.

Tuesday: Ottawa 4, Char-Lan 1

After Ottawa suffered a tough 4-2 loss to Char-Lan last weekend, OJC was able to bounce back and get their third win this season. George Daher collected the game winner in a two point night and Ben Kay had two assists. Baptiste, Yorke and de Kemp were the other goal scorers for Ottawa. Both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.

Tyler Branchaud had Char-Lan’s only goal in the loss. Shots were 26-11 for OJC. Connor Baillie made 10 saves and Felix Dubeau had 22 saves in the contest. The Rebels also snap their two game winning streak.

Wednesday: Brockville 3, Carleton Place 2

The Tikis were able to get this game very close as Ethan Wooller collects the game winner with 11:25 left in regulation. Wooller now has five goals and eight points to start his season. Zachary Issacson got on the scoresheet by scoring twice in the win. Brockville picks up their second win and go to 2-2-1.

Jonathan Swyer and Hunter Neil were the goal scorers for Carleton Place. It’s the Canadians second loss this year and were 4-0-1 in their last five games before losing to Brockville. Both teams traded one power play goal each. Shots were 33-29 for Brockville.

Thursday: Ottawa West 5, Richmond 1

The Golden Knights extend their winning streak to six games and improve to 7-1 in eight games this season. Keon Troccoli-Roik collects his second hat trick this year and had four points. Other players with four points were Jack Haymes (1G/3A) and Sean Kearns (4A). Nicholas McFarlane also had the other goal for Ottawa West late in the third. Ottawa West is now first in goals for (46), first with the least goals against (13) and first in goal differential (+33).

Jackson Dallaire played a solid game by scoring the lone goal for Richmond as they are now 0-5-1 in their last six games. Anton Moshchensky made 36 saves and Jordan Provost had 28 saves for his fifth win this year.

Thursday: Casselman 4, Char-Lan 3

The Casselman Vikings continues to stay by collecting their fifth win this season. Casselman has won three of their last four games. Simon Batista collected 1G/1A and Jacob Dyers gets his second game winner of the season late in the third period. Other goal scorers were Xavier Borgia and Vincent Bastien. Zachari Racine made 19 saves in the win. Casselman goes to 5-1 this year in six games.

Nolan McMillian collects two goals and Branchaud extended his goal streak to two games as Char-Lan drops their second consecutive game. Felix Dubeau did get the loss but was solid in net by making 37 saves on 41 shots. Casselman went 2-for-4 on the power play.
