Ottawa, Ontario – In Week four of the EOJHL season, their were three games in the Richardson Division and six games in the Martin Division where a mix between close games and dominating performances from other EOJHL teams.

Tuesday: Carleton Place 10, Valley 2

The Jr. Canadians dominate Valley for another win. Owen Smetham leads the way with two goals and three points while Patchell, McGlade, Kenny, Stanfield, Lockhart and Mongeon each tallied two points. The Other goal scorers were Hay, Schippers, MacTavish and Schoenborn for Carleton Place. Matthew Maas made 30 saves in the win. The Jr. Canadians went 1-for-3 on the power play.

Lafreniere and Enright each collected one goal for Valley as they still remain winless. Shots were 58-32 for Carleton Place.

Tuesday: Ottawa 6, Alexandria 0

The Ottawa Jr. Canadians cruise their way to a blowout win over Alexandria. Kai Nicholson scores twice while Vezina, Marino, Lemieux, Bush and Freshette each tally two points. Luke Going and Scott Wirvin also collect their first goal in the EOJHL. Danik Marion scores his fourth of the season as Cedrik Dandenault made 15 saves for his first shutout of the season.

Mathieu Sauve made 53 saves in the loss for Alexandria. OJC outshot Alexandria 59-15.

Wednesday: Arnprior 5, Brockville 2

The Packers continue to stay hot by getting their eighth win of the season. Sam Klawitter leads the way with the hat trick. Along with Klawitter’s hat trick, Jake Coleman, Ryland Landon and Nolan Mcgregor each had three points. Jaden Cholette made 25 saves for the win. Arnprior goes 3-for-8 on the power play.

The goal scorers for Brockville is Juchau and Grajnar Ptok. The Tikis were 1-for-6 on the power play. Shots were 37-27 for Arnprior.

Thursday: Ottawa West 3, Embrun 0

Jordan provost made 34 saves for his first shutout of the season as he leads the Golden Knights to a huge victory over the red hot Embrun Panthers. Adam Cater scores on the power play in the second while Connor Dickey collected his first goal this season in a three point night. Mason Fewster added an empty net goal in the last 1:30 in the third and Sean Ireland got on the scoresheet with two assists.

Aidan Foley made 20 saves in the loss. The Golden Knights go 1-for-7 on the power play. Embrun outshot Ottawa West 34-23.

Thursday: Winchester 5, Casselman 4 (OT)

The Vikings were able to overcome a 4-2 deficit to force OT, but Garrett Craig ends it with one minute left in OT. It would Craig’s first goal of the season. Lucas Leblanc tallied two goals while Mathieu Beauchemin, Nicolas Corry and Garrett Craig each had 1G / 1A. Xavier Dusablon made 51 saves against Casselman.

Nico Pozzebon adds three assists and Marc-Olivier McCarthy scores twice in the loss. Lankester and Ouellette also had goals on the back end. Both teams went 1-for-5 on the power play. The Vikings outshot the Hawks 55-30.

Friday: 

Arnprior 8, Perth 3

In a battle between two undefeated teams in the Richardson Division, the Packers would continue to show on who the dominate team is. Andrew Cuglietta collects two goals and three assists for five points. Jake Coleman would add three assists for the second consecutive game. Almstedt, Doyle, Bertrand, Klawitter, Robillard and Duhn each got on the score sheet with two points. Jett Miller turned away 30 pucks.

Ethan Woolsey, George Carson and Ben Anderson were the goal scorers in Perth’s first loss this season. The Packers outshot Perth 52-33.

Casselman 8, Alexandria 1

Casselman would bounce very well in Alexandria. Sebastien Ouimet stays hot by collect a hat trick and two assples. Nicholas Lankester had his point streak up to two games with three assists. Tyler Stewart added 1G/2A to snap a two game pointless drought. The other goal scorers were Cloutier, Lafrance, Ouellette and Gagne. Mael Gendron made 15 saves. The Vikings went 2-for-3 on the power play.

Yanik Major scores his second goal this season. Jason Van Wieran made 23 saves in the first period and Mathieu Sauve had 39 saves between the second and third period. Casselman outshot Alexandria 70-16.

Ottawa 2, Winchester 1

It was a low scoring contest between two teams that were trying to get into the win column. OJC would score in the first from Tyler Vezina and then Alex Freshette in the second frame. Kai Nicholson added two assists and had his point streak up to four games. Felix Schnell made 35 saves for his fourth win of the season.

Kyle Filion scores his third of the year with 30 seconds left but it wouldn’t be enough for Winchester. Bryce Kijewski was terrific in net by making 32 saves. The Hawks outshot OJC 36-34.

Richmond 3, Embrun 2 (OT)

The Richmond Royals were able to knock off Embrun for the second time this season, but coming in Overtime. Dylan Rorwick scored his eighth of the year to keep his point going to start the season. Drew Russett scores his second goal this year and same with Cameron Donaldson during the first period. Richmond goes 1-for-3 on the power play.

RIley MacDonald collects his first goal this season and Juno Gregoire scores his seventh as Embrun picks up a point. Richmond outshot Embrun 42-34. Gabe Arrigo made 32 saves and Copper Lennon had 39 stops.
