Whitewater and Renfrew complete a big trade

Ottawa, Ontario – The Renfrew Timberwolves acquired ’01 F Dylan Kuehl and the rights of ’99 F Jacob McIntyre from the Whitewater Kings in exchange for ’01 F Nick Cuddy and ’01 F Gabriel Davis on Wednesday October 30th 2019.

Kuehl, 18, is in his third season of junior hockey. During his time with the Kings, he collected 46 goals, 56 assists and 102 points in 105 games. Kuehl has appeared in 12 games to start the season and has five goals, three assists and eight points. He collected 24 goals and 49 points last season while playing for Whitewater.

McIntyre, 20, played with the Whitewater Kings in the 2017-18 season and the next season he went on to play with the Pembroke Lumber Kings in CCHL Tier 1. Two years ago, he suited up for 49 games that year and collected 27 goals, 40 assists and 67 points for Whitewater. Last year, he only tallied eight goals and 16 points in 51 games with Pembroke.

Cuddy, 17, is in his second season of junior hockey. Before getting picked by Renfrew, he spent two seasons playing with the Pembroke Lumber Kings Midget AAA team. This season, Cuddy has four goals and two assists in 11 games. Last year, he netted 17 goals in his rookie season.

Davis, 17, comes back to CCHL Tier 2 after playing 12 games for the Texas Roadrunners in the North American 3 Hockey League. He collected one assist last Sunday night against Athens. Davis also split time last year between Winchester and Renfrew. He scored three goals and three assists in 27 CCHL2 games last year.
