OTTAWA, ON – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is pleased to announce that Daniel McDowell from the Winchester Hawks is the Week 10 Source for Sports Player of the Week.
The 2007 born Manotick, ON native tallied 4 goals and added 1 assist in two games last week, helping the Hawks to their first win of the season.
McDowell tallied 2 goals and 1 assist in the Hawks 4-3 win over Glengarry on Friday night which included the game-winning goal. On Sunday, McDowell put together his second two-goal effort in as many games as the Hawks fell in a hard-fought 3-2 game to Richmond.
On the season, McDowell sits 6th overall in the EOJHL goal-scoring race with 15.
