Recap | Casselman and Ottawa West extend their winning streaks on Thursday

Ottawa, Ontario – The Richmond Royals were on the road against Casselman while Ottawa West faced off against Alexandria on Thursday night, as were down to the final 30 days left in the regular season.

Ottawa West 5, Alexandria 3

The Golden Knights have won four consecutive games ever since losing to Embrun a couple weeks ago. Sam Edwards finally scores his first goal of the season which turns out to be the game winner. He collected two points in the game.

Sean Kearns scores his 18th of the season in his 16th multi-point game of the season and has 50 points this year. Bobby Dempster and Antonio Silenu each added two assists. Nicolas Corry scores twice and Any Lightle-Blais turned in a good performance with 1G / 1A for Alexandria.

Shots were 38-30 in favour of Ottawa West. Both teams combined for 126 PIM throughout the game.

Casselman 5, Richmond 2

The Vikings score three unanswered goals in the third period for their fifth consecutive win. Jason Cossette, Xavier Léveillé and Mikael Houle scores a goal and added an assists. Patterson and Talbot each got on the score sheet with two assists.

Shots were 47-21 for Casselman. McFalane and Dioszeghy had the only Richmond goals in the loss. Casselman went 2-for-4 on the man advantage. Patterson extends his point streak to three games and Talbot’s point is at four games.
