Ottawa, ON – The 2024-25 EOJHL season kicked off in thrilling fashion Tuesday night, as the Ottawa Canadians secured a commanding 3-0 win over the Athens Aeros.

Danik Marion, Vincent Boyle, and Nolan DeFazio found the back of the net for Ottawa, while goaltender Joshua Hawken was a wall between the pipes, stopping all 27 shots he faced for a shutout. Despite the loss, Athens’ netminder Dustin Riff stood tall with an impressive 27-save performance.
