Brockville ties the series 1-1 with 5-3 win

Ottawa, Ontario – The Brockville Tikis tied their best of seven series against the Perth Blue Wings at one, after a 5-3 win on Wednesday night at the Brockville Memorial Center.

The Tikis scored three unanswered goals in the first period and never looked back. Gerrett McArthur scored one goal and two assists while Austin Caza (2A) and Logan Gallagher (1G/1A) each had two-point games in the series tying win. Brayden Kelso made 43-saves, as they were outshot 46-36.

Johnathan Peacock allowed three goals on the first four shots that he faced, and was pulled early on. The Blue Wings attempted the late comeback but were unable to tie it up in the third. Shane Spencer had 1G/1A and James Redmond has two assists in the loss.

Game three will be in Perth on Friday March 8th.
