RELEASE | CCM November Performers of the Month

Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce it’s CCM Hockey November Performers of the Month. Arnprior Packers forward Nolan McGregor collects the Forward of the Month, Winchester Hawks defenseman Daniel Beauchemin gets Defenseman of the Month, Ottawa West Golden Knights goaltender Jordan Provost is awarded Goalie of the Month, and Perth Blue Wings forward Travis Ouellette earns Rookie of the Month.

FOTM: ’02 Nolan McGregor (Arnprior Packers)

McGregor, 20, had one of the most impressive months during November. He collected 14 goals, to go along 17 assists in 10 games. The Braeside, Ontario native is on a nine game point streak. During that stretch, he has registered 14 goals and 19 assists. There were three games in November where McGregor collected five points. They were on November 2nd against Valley with 1G / 4A, November 19th against Carleton Place by collecting four goals and one assist and then November 25th against Perth with 1G / 4A. McGregor has collected three hat tricks during the season. He is first in the league in goals with 24 goals and 55 points. He also has 31 assists which is good for third in the EOJHL. Mcgregor is in his final season in the EOJHL after playing four years in the league.

DOTM: ’04 Daniel Beauchemin (Winchester Hawks)

Beauchemin, 18, collects one goal and seven assists in eight games to become the Defenseman of the Month. The Ottawa, Ontario native has five goals, to go along with 17 assists in 21 games this season. He sits tied for first in defenseman scoring with 22 points. The most points that Beauchemin had was two assists against Ottawa on November 4th and November 17th against Casselman. His only goal during the month was on November 24th against the Golden Knights. He is currently on a four game point streak. This is his second season with Winchester after collecting two goals and 22 assists in 39 games. He is two points away from tying his career high for points in a season (24).

GOTM: ’02 Jordan Provost (Ottawa West Golden Knights)

Provost, 20, was great in November by going 5-1 in six games, to go along with a 2.81 GAA / .920 SV%. The Ottawa, Ontario native is in his final season with the Golden Knights. Right now he is 9-2-1, to go along with one shutout, a 2.74 GAA / .915 SV% in 14 games. His best games during the month of November was on November 4th against Embrun where he made 46 saves in a 4-2 win. His other wins came against Richmond, Casselman, Winchester and Char-Lan. He made a CCHL start with the Nepean Raiders on November 27th against the Rockland Nationals where he made 46 saves on 49 shots in a 5-3 win. Provost is 8th in the league in save percentage and 9th in goals against average. He is tied for 6th for wins with nine.

ROTM: ’05 Travis Ouellette (Perth Blue Wings)

Ouellette, 17, collects five goals and seven assists in eight games. The South Mountain, Ontario native has appeared in 19 games and has 14 goals, 22 assists and 36 points. He is first in rookie scoring in goals, assists and points. Between October 28th to November 20th, Ouellette was on a seven game point streak. During that stretch, he had six goals and 10 assists. On November 26th against Whitewater, he collected two goals and two assists for four points. It was his third four point game of the year. There was a stretch where he collected two points against Valley, Athens and Brockville in three straight games. Last year, he played with the U18 Brockville Braves and had 30 points in 28 games.
