Week 10 Stars of the Week

Ottawa, Ontario – The CCHL2 is pleased to announce it’s Week 10 Three Stars of the Week.

First Star: F Andrew McIntyre (Renfrew Timberwolves)

McIntyre, 20, scored four goals and three assists for a total of seven points in three-games last week. The Cobden, Ontario native now leads the CCHL2 in points (42) and goals (20). He is current six-game point-streak is the fourth best active point streak on November 27th, 2018. The 5’5 / 140 pound forward is playing at 2.00 PPG pace and has 13 multi-point contests.

Second Star: Mitchell Rukavina (Athens Aeros)

Rukavina, 18, made a CCHL2 season-high 59 saves on 62 shots in an overtime loss against the Perth Blue Wings on Sunday. The Stittsville, Ontario native has made 50 saves or more twice this year (all in November) and has a 4.03 GAA / .900 SV% this season.

Third Star: G Brent Pledge-Dickson (Winchester Hawks)

Pledge-Dickson, 18, appeared in three-games (two-starts) and allowed seven goals on 107 total shots. The Ottawa, Ontario native made 52 saves on 55 shots in a victory over Ottawa West on Thursday and 41 saves on Friday. He has now had to make 50 or more saves three times and 40 or more saves five times. He holds a 6-6 record, 3.68 GAA / .914 SV% this season.

HM: Artyom Shiman (Whitewater Kings)

Shiman, 17, scored four goals in three games for the 1-2 Kings last week. He currently has points in six of his last seven games (7G/2A) and leads all rookies in goals (15) and is fourth in points (21). The Pembroke Lumber Kings prospect has played three-games at the Tier 1 level and has six multi-point efforts this year.
