Ottawa, Ontario – The Eastern Ontario Junior Hockey League is proud to announce that Winchester Hawks forward Lucas Leblanc is the award recipient of the Top Prospects of the year award.
Leblanc, 16, was a sixth round pick by the Guelph Storm and 115th overall in the OHL draft in 2022 and is an Ottawa Jr. Senators prospect. He played in six call up games with Ottawa during the season. He will be affiliated with Ottawa for their playoff run which starts on Wednesday March 22nd.
The Nepean, Ontario native had an outstanding first year in junior hockey by collecting 21 goals, 23 assists and 44 points in 42 games. He ended the season on a two game point streak and had one goal in the wild card series against Embrun at the start of March. Congratulations Lucas on winning Top Prospect award.
